The forbidden fruit is really only tempting because you know you cannot get it. Once the fruit is no longer forbidden, it loses its appeal immediately. Something that is inaccessible may initially appear interesting to you may lose its appeal once it is within reach.

CNY is finally at the doorstep. It’s always at times like these that you can feel the age gap between your generation and the generation of your parents.

Many of these people are still stuck in the traditional mindset that you should be getting a stable job after graduation, and that life will be smooth if you do so.

Really?

The last time I checked, unemployment is still pretty high, wages are still low. People who earn big bucks are either freelancing or have their own businesses.

That’s why more and more people are thinking of Singapore as nothing but a country that’s losing its place in the world, simply because most Singaporeans don’t get it. They don’t understand the biggest pie to eat now is internet advertising, neither do they believe in starting their own businesses and taking risks.

Singaporeans are bred/reared to serve and follow. Yes. Reared.

P.S. Oh and why is it that people still don’t realise that NUS Arts and Soci is like one of the hardest faculties to enter in Singapore right now? Many still have the age-old mindset “Wah lao go Arts study what? Art ah? Art you come out do what? Teach art ah?”. NUS Science happens to be the current NUS dumping ground, and NTU Engineering is the overall dumping ground. And also, the last time I checked, my la-salle SIA graduated friends are earning 7-9k per month. Try getting a Science or Engineering grad to best that.

What the fuck is wrong with secondary sch teachers these days? How can they expect sec sch kids to produce and edit video?

Hell I had to film everything, edit everything and do the voiceovers in less than 3 days. Had to purposely down the quality of voiceovers and audio to make it look and sound amateurish.

6. Sleep 23 hours a day to prevent herself from looking her real age

8. Have 2 Handphone lines/numbers for different purposes: One for family/friends another one for guys
9. Constantly keep track of the various lies she told to each and every guy she met
10. Profess to have a love for cute banana soft toys, and constantly squeezing the soft toys in front of every guy she meets, smiling sweetly and acting cute, all at the same time.
